The Connecticut Crease is the longest-running private hockey goalie training facility in Connecticut. Established in 2002, and located at the Northford ice Pavilion in Northford, CT, the Connecticut Crease has developed an impressive clientele over the years, from beginners to goalies playing at NCAA Division 1 & 3 levels.
Every goalie who trains with the Connecticut Crease is coached by Dan Stewart, Chris Ardito or Craig Height — our three professional, full-time instructors. With 35+ years of collective experience behind them, these instructors have the know-how needed to advance a goalie’s skill sets, regardless of the starting level of the student. Our coaching is renowned for helping goalies to achieve greater and greater successes, moving them from one level to the next with focused, consistent training and practice.
New Connecticut Crease Social Network
Please take the time to join our new Connecticut Crease social network. We created this network to bring all of our goalies together. Our hope is that they will get to know each other, interact, and enjoy. It will also help connect organizations and teams to goalies through our Goalies Wanted Forum. CT Crease Goalies:We are excited to announce the creation of our new social network, designed strictly for CT Crease goalies. This is a place for our goalies to post pictures, chat, use our discussion boards to talk about equipment and the NHL, as well as hear from Chris, Dan, and Craig, as they will be doing weekly blogs. 2012 Summer Camp Announcement (Updated)
We have secured our summer ice at the Northford Ice Pavilion, located in Northford, CT, off Interstate 91 at Exit 12. The management at this modern facility is excited to be providing a new home for CT Crease, and we are very pleased to be working with them.
For clients who wish to come to CT Crease but find that Northford is too far to travel, we want you to know we are working diligently with rinks in the northern part of the state to secure additional ice, meaning you will still be able to attend our camp. We will notify you as soon as this ice is reserved.
If you signed up for our camp when CT Crease was located at Cromwell, we will honor your camp enrollment and deposit, regardless of who the deposit was paid to. Our goalies are important to us, and we want to ensure they have the best possible training.
And you can expect the exact same, top-notch training you have come to trust and rely on for more than a decade. Our elite staff includes full-time goalie coaches Dan Stewart, Chris Ardito and Craig Height, as well as a number of highly-qualified instructors from carious NCAA, Junior, and Prep school programs. Our camp will only use instructors who have been carefully selected by CT Crease. We are excited to work with our goalies and to help them reach the next level.

August 20 – 23 (9am – 3pm) Readiness Camp, On-ice, Hamden
